I purchased the Surfer pool Vacuum last month. It is the biggest waste of money I have ever spent for my pool. I have no problem with how it works because it can do a nice job of sucking and cleans the bottom of the pool nicely. But.............I opened the box, was getting things out of the box and the blue bar that is suppose to keep the vacuum from flipping over was bent and broken. Taking the hoses from the box, I notice one of the hoses was split. I went ahead and put everything together, hook it up and discover another hose with a hole in it. The vacuum was running correctly and I decided I'd take the hoses back in a day or so. Within three days, two more hoses split and got holes. I took the whole thing back to the store. They wouldn't let me have my money back or even upgrade the vacuum because it had been in the water. But they were nice enough to replace the hoses. While at the store, two more hoses split at home. They replaced all the hoses and finally admitted that others were having problems also. We still have not received a new blue bar handle. The vacuum works great when you have all the hoses but I would not buy another one due to all the hoses breaking. No, I can't recommend this product.
